First major letdown of 2013.
I was planning on completing the Disney Dumbo Challenge, but no such luck for this girl. The Dumbo sold out in an HOUR! What a letdown. I still registered for the half, so I can still potentially complete the Coast-to-Coast this year, but man. This stinks. Obviously (or maybe not so much so), this is the first time I’ve been sold out of a race that I really wanted to run. And to boot, I then had to make a fairly game-time-y decision on whether it was still worth it to fly cross-country for just one race. I decided it was, mostly because I was 2013 to be the year I get my CTC medal.

So sorry! Yikes, that’s crazy! I wonder if the Goofy Challenge will be the same way.
I think it happened because Disneyland races are usually smaller and this was the first year of the Dumbo Challenge. Inaugural events always sell out quickly with Disney. I’m still sulking over it though.
